Economic Justice

The majority of locally controlled economic-development dollars are spent inefficiently, subsidizing development that would have happened anyway and return little local benefit. However, local governments have a great deal of power to shape economic policy, and there are real possibilities for cities to choose high-road economic development reform and improvement rather than a low-road race to the bottom, and many are taking it. Among the Progov21 policy roadmaps in this area are: Economic Equality, Job Quality, and Wages & Benefits
