The Clean Truck Program at the Port of Los Angeles was designed to make the trucks at the city's ports more environmentally sustainable. The Program reduced emissions and did not allow port companies to shift the costs of the truck upgrades on to the drivers. Section Twenty of the contract defines terms related to heavy-duty drayage trucks, including compliance with clean air regulations, port operations, truck types, fuel specifications, CARB rules, and port agreements with motor carriers.
