This report's findings underscore that current retaliation protections are insufficient, leaving workers vulnerable to financial instability and hardship when they exercise their rights. Retaliation funds are a tool for combating labor violations, which would provide immediate financial support to workers who face retaliation (e.g., pay cuts or job loss) after reporting violations.
