Model Cool Roofs Ordinance

Increasingly frequent and severe extreme heat events threaten public health and well-being. Highly reflective roofing materials can mitigate the effects of extreme heat in both indoor and outdoor spaces. This model ordinance is a tool local elected officials can personalize to advocate for cool roofs in their community.
