Equity in Practice: Strengthening Transit through Community Partnerships

Community engagement through partnerships with community-based organizations can enhance a city's safety, reliability, affordability, and accessibility. LA Metro developed a CBO Partnering Strategy to create a database and charter process to streamline partnerships. This report highlights how these toolshelp bridge organizational differences and integrate community perspectives into service planning and policy development.
