Increasing fatal and serious injury crashes are becoming a growing concern in Detroit. To tackle this, the city leveraged a $24.8 million Safe Streets and Roads for All grant to improve safety along the High Injury Network. These streetscape improvements are also tied to the cities goals of revitalizing public spaces, with a long-term goal of eliminating all fatal and serious crashes by 2050.
