States Are Laying a Road Map for Climate Leadership

State and local governments have taken important steps to combat climate change and promote clean energy, but more must be done to address environmental injustice and transition to a sustainable economy. This report outlines state and local policies for transitioning to 100 percent clean electricity, limit carbon pollution, enhance energy efficiency, promoting electric vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure, net-zero construction, as well as policies to address environmental and economic injustices.
