LEVEL UP: Economic Mobility Program

Residents living in poverty require critical assistance to improve their socioeconomic stability, and existing programs and services are not always enough. Moline implemented the Level Up Economic Mobility Program, providing year-long monthly grants and one-time emergency assistance to qualifying families and individuals. The program was aimed to support educational advancement and housing stability while ensuring participants remain eligible for other benefits. Funding was sourced from City Cannabis Tax Revenue, with a total allocation of $200,000 for the program's duration in 2024.
