The American Rescue Plan: Recommendations for Addressing Early Educator Compensation and Supports

Throughout the nation, early childhood educators are struggling to meet ends meet. With the passing of the American Rescue Plan Act, unprecedented funding opportunities exist to meet the wage gap of underfunded and underpaid educators. This report contains policy suggestions that would strengthen the impact of ARPA, while proposing further policy implementation that would create long term changes to the economic conditions of early childhood educators.
