boards of directors and at the CEO/Executive Director positions of the 150 largest 501(c)3 nonprofits in Rhode Island, or roughly 4% of the total number of public charities in the state. The report is meant to create community conversations around whether the diversity of these organizations reflects/should reflect the broader Rhode Island community served and create a benchmark for future studies.
