Model Health in All Policies Ordinance

This model ordinance is designed to help a jurisdiction implement "Health in All Policies," a collaborative approach to improving health by incorporating health, sustainability, and equity considerations into decision-making across sectors and policy areas. The ordinance formally commits a city or county to using a Health in All Policies approach, provides a framework of key issues related to the social determinants of health, establishes an interagency Health in All Policies task force, and more.
