Complete Streets Tucson

Transportation networks often create unsafe conditions for pedestrians, cyclists, and public transit users. The Tucson Complete Streets Policy improved pedestrian infrastructure and green stormwater management, and facilitated community engagement. It set clear performance targets for reaching underserved communities and providing community benefits. A project prioritization tool will direct funding to projects that align with Complete Streets requirements and improve safety and access to multimodal service.
