Advancing Community Revitalization to Improve Health and Equity

Citizens across the country lack confidence in their ability to recycle, find it unclear, and question their impact while recycling. This toolkit addresses some of the barriers to recycling and provides recommendations for municipal leaders to overcome this lack of confidence. Best practices include offering resident tours of recycling facilities, hosting community events with environmental advocates, and creating at-home labeling systems for recycling bins.
