Los Angeles Resolution Establishing Targeted Hiring Requirements

This ordinance requires the Department of Public Works to abide by targeted hiring requirements. At least 30% of total hours worked on a project shall be performed by local residents; 20% shall be performed by apprentices; and 10% shall be performed by disadvantaged workers (e.g. California residents that are low-income, homeless, lacking a high school diploma, having frequent contact with the justice system, etc).
