Stopping School Pushout for Girls Who Are Pregnant or Parenting

Girls who are pregnant are more likely to be pushed out of school due to discouraging environments, lack of support, punitive absence policies, need for accommodations, inaccessible homebound instructions, unequal alternatives, and lack of child care. Policymakers must take steps to ensure pregnant girls have the same access to educational opportunity.
