This report finds that technological developments can make EBT acceptance available at farmers markets and that incentive programs have made markets increasingly accessible to SNAP recipients. It also recommends that community partners educate and connect SNAP shoppers to farmers markets, the USDA subsidize EBT terminals and create a technical assistance program, and farmers markets continue to experiment with accessibility models.
