San Francisco's Proposed City Minimum Wage Law: A Prospective Impact Study

This study evaluates the impact of the proposed 2014 ballot initiative to raise the minimum wage in the city to $15 an hour by 2018 in four steps. The study evaluates the number and demographics of workers impacted as well as the economic impact on workers and business. They find a large impact for workers with modest impact on businesses.
