Anchor Institutions Roadmap

Anchor institutions, such as hospitals, universities, and airports, are enterprises tied to their surrounding communities through place-based investments, and, oftentimes, an explicit mission to benefit society. To succeed, they require infrastructure and amenities that only the public sector can provide. ProGov21's Anchor Institutions Roadmap provides information and resources to enable communities and anchor institutions to engage in long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that drive development through local employment, local procurement, and placemaking.
