Qualified teachers are the foundation of high-quality early care and education (ECE). However, inadequate compensation and subpar working conditions for ECE workers threatens the quality of programs, by leading to high levels of turnover. This report urges policymakers to invest in Florida's ECE workers, by adequately compensating them and training them before and during their service.
