Fracking for gas and oil is threatening national forests, parks, and other public area. States need to set minimum standers and rules on the condition and location for hydraulic fracturing. Fracked gas and oil help employ people and reduce our dependence on foreign oil, but it hasn't created as many jobs as expected; it also stresses water supplies and endangers health.
