Decisionmakers across the country are putting forward policies to fight climate that is critical to creating a healthier, more resilient future. As climate change’s impact on both the United States and the world continues to grow, policies must be made to build a cleaner, safer, and more equitable economy. The primary recommendation of this report is to focus on green economy union jobs. Methods of doing this include promoting Project Labor Agreements, increasing wages and worker benefits, using local hiring agreements, utilizing apprenticeships, and organizing labor groups. All of these put together will result in a clean economy with high-quality jobs.
