Data and Methods for Estimating the Impact of Proposed Local Minimum Wage Laws

This technical report outlines the data and methodology developed by the UC Berkeley Labor Center to estimate the number of workers impacted by proposed local minimum wages laws, as well as the expected increases in wages. This report outlines the data limitations for city- or county-based analyses and provides guidance for those looking to conduct this analyses in their own communities.
