Data and Methods for Estimating the Impact of Proposed Local Minimum Wage Laws

This technical report outlines the date and methodology developed by the UC Berkeley Labor Center to estiamte the number of workers imapcted by proposed local minimum wages laws, as well as the expected increase in wages. This report outlines the challenges of dealing with data limitations for city or county based analyses and provides guidance for those looking to conduct this analyises in their own community.
