Addressing Segregation and Unequal Access to Opportunity in California with Affordable Housing Investments: A Path Forward for a Comprehensive Approach

Racial segregation has blocked access to housing and pathway to homeownership. This report argues that to address this injustice, California must make substantial efforts to distribute funding to mitigate the racial wealth gap, through policy focused on increasing housing choice and community development in communities for historically marginalized communities.
