Women are the mostly likely to be engaged in low- wage jobs. Childcare is limited by high costs, provider accessibility, lack of stable care, lack of information, and eligibility concerns. Workers report scheduling problems to be a particularly big issue. This report recommends governments provide a greater investment in childcare assistance and raise the minimum wage for workers.
