This report is intended to aid local leaders as they attempt to repair relationships with Indigenous populations. In particular, it educates municipal officials on the history of harm and erasure committed against Indigenous Peoples and informs them of the challenges currently facing the Indigenous community (i.e. homelessness, policing, and language and cultural loss). It also describes ways in which cities can address these challenges and ultimately repair their relationships with Native Americans.
