Portland Ranked Choice Voting Ordinance

This ordinance outlines how members of the Portland City Council shall be elected, and discusses the respective duties, powers, and tenure of office for each position. It also states that the City of Portland will use ranked choice voting, or instant runoff voting, for the election of Mayor. Instant runoff voting allows voters to rank candidates in order of preference.
