The increasing severity and cost of wildfires require the implementation of Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) that mitigate these fires through fuel reduction and structural ignitability treatments. Wildfire mitigation strategies should be integrated with local land use policies and zoning regulations. This report evaluates the effectiveness of Colorados CWPP and address gaps in wildfire risk reduction efforts.
