The Port of Los Angeles' Clean Truck Program led to a reduction in diesel emissions. This report compiles data from port drivers, mechanics, air regulators and freight carriers on the financial cost and responsibility required to properly maintain a successful Clean Truck Program. It finds that maintenance costs are financially out of reach for individual port truck drivers.
