Expanding the Blueprint: the Role of Nonprofit and Private Organizations in Milwaukee's Affordable Housing Landscape

Nonprofit and private organizations are playing an important role in combating Milwaukee's housing challenges. Through a series of surveys and interviews, this report outlines which organizations are most active in efforts to maintain and increase affordable housing supply and access; what services these organizations provide; how housing activities and investments of non-governmental organizations complement those provided by the city of Milwaukee; and the challenges non-governmental organizations face with regard to their housing efforts and potential solutions.
