Mobility on demand (MOD) refers to transportation services that can be hailed in real-time for an impending trip. The largest MOD project funded by the Federal Transit Administration is a two-region partnership between Los Angeles and the Puget Sound Region that provides first/last mile services to transit stations near disadvantaged communities. This report analyzes how well the project meets accessibility requirements outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other regulations aimed at protecting the rights of people with disabilities and providing equal access to opportunity.
